Manic Pixie Trope

As a young'un, I wanted to be whimsical and magical and a riot of color in a grey world. Mostly I think I looked bonkers. But I love that wide-eyed idiot who projected what she wanted to be and damn the fact that I was weird beyond reason.

My Manic Pixie behaviors:
- Dressed as Carrie for school dances
- Dyed my hair by myself
- Wrote movie quotes on my clothes
- Carried a backpack with "deep" questions written on it -- Like "what's worth fighting for?" "what if you only ever love yourself?" "what if you're wrong?" "who would you die for?"
- Go to sleep in strange places on purpose
- Intentionally wore décor like wall hangings or  as accessories
- Wore bandages or stickers for no reason on my face and arms
- Carried bubbles around in case... in case what... no idea
- Had a mini Bible with Narnia quotes all over the cover
- Wore a t-shirt that said Loser on it - On the back it explained "He who loses his life for my sake, saves it." But people who saw me must have thought I lost a bet, that I chose to wear that.
- Paired bad Christian t-shirts like "witness projection program" or "be like the SON" with thrifted pajama pants
- Put glitter all over my face, not just my eyes. Oh and I used glitter glue, so it dried and flaked-off
