About Me:

  • If I were a contestant on The Bachelor, I'd fall in love with the sound guy.

  • ​I'm a night owl.

  • My biggest hero in the world is my father. In spite of everything with my mom getting sick-- He is still kind, funny, and hopeful.

  • I worked a couple summers as a rocking climbing/ high-ropes-course crossing/ river raft guiding camp counselor.

  • I have a "go-to" fake blood recipe.

  • My love languages are: acts of kindness and quality time.

  • I'm obsessed with Rasputin, Jacobean Revenge Tragedy, and the witches from MacBeth.

  • I’m deathly allergic to cats... my throat swells shut and I can’t breathe. But I still pet them.

  • I used to play ice hockey/ roller hockey because of how much I loved The Mighty Ducks.

  • I lived in Singapore for a year and was briefly kidnapped, but talked my way free.

  • I love sleeping in.  

  • I’ve got a high tolerance for pain... To the point that I've broken bones and not known.

  • I worked as a receptionist at a New Age spa where they did reiki and my co-worker with the gift of prophecy told me I should be married by now.

  • I believe that it is just as stupid to refuse to do something because it’s a fad as it is to do something because it is a fad. Popular opinion shouldn’t play such a large role in our decision-making process. Do what you love, forget everything else.

  • If I was dying and could have one celebrity stroke my hair while I went out... It would be Meryl Streep.

  • I love riddles, mind-benders, unusual facts/ trivia, and puzzles.

  • I've been to 20+ Renaissance Faires.

  • I competed in Extemporaneous Speaking and Original Oratory in Speech & Debate in High School. 

  • I also competed in Student Congress, but quit when they threatened to ban me for constantly turning my rooms into Communist Republics.

  • My nickname is Rocky because I hate being called Raquel and it's a FRIENDS reference.

  • I genuinely love classical music and movie soundtracks above all other music choices.

  • I love Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Wheel of Time, Lord of the Rings, Marvel, and most nerd culture things. 

  • I'm part of Clan Ewing of Otter and in 2019 my family traveled to Scotland to elect Thor Ewing as our Commander and to visit the ruins of ancestral castle.

  • I attended Magic Camp while all the other girls in my 3rd Grade Class attended Cheer Camp...
